I am a chef, artist and mom. I completed my undergraduate degree at Parsons School of Design, and spent several years working on collaborative multi-media installations, involving video, sound and food. I have also traveled to Europe, South America and Asia, inspired by the sights, sounds and tastes of these cultures.
In order to delve more seriously in to the world of food, I completed my Culinary Degree at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. Following my training, I spent a few years in the restaurant kitchen, moving up from Line Cook to Executive Chef. The fast pace and excitement of the restaurant kitchen was a satisfying way to develop my skills and confidence as a chef.
After the birth of my daughter, I stepped out of the restaurant kitchen and back into the home kitchen, which has been my focus for the past several years. From planning and cooking private dinner parties, to shopping and preparing healthy meals for busy eaters, to cooking homemade baby food, the home kitchen has become the heart of what I do.
